Angry I'm at work, and my Stapler is a TURD.

I'm here at work, waiting for Charlotte LineHaul to call me so I can give my numbers and such.

I just came to the conclusion that my Stapler is a BIG STEAMING TURD. It wont staple worth a crap, never has. ALways chews paper up and bends the staples all to hell.

OH well let me get back to nothing. Oh I mean work.

You know something Merc... I'm gonna come to Fayetteville on a Saturday night and I'm not gonna tell ya.. I'm gonna cruise around until I run into you and you're boys Then (after I smoke ya) I'm gonna mention how your stapler is a "big steaming turd" and ask you if you wanna go get some hot wings from hooters. You DO have a Hooters around there, don't ya?

Rbatson.

Of course we have a Hooters here, it about 4 miles from where me and the guys hang out. Its like a block away from Cross Creek Mall.

FiveOhPatrol.

I havent seen Office Space, but one of the other managers at work talks about it alot. Sounds pretty funny, I've been meaning to rent it.

We hang out at the Advanced Auto parking lot on Raeford Rd.

Poeple usually start showing up around 9:00. Me and Tim C usually get there at 9 or 9:30. Usually starts picking up around 10-10:30.

THe turnout varies depending on weather and whats going on at Rockingham. We usually get about 10-15 Stangs out there, a handfull of Z-28s and a handfull of SS Z28's. At least 7 or more FireBirds, and a few 60's era Muscle cars out there.

During the summer we've had about 45 cars out there. During the colder weather though, the turnout is real inconsistant.

Tim C, me, a the few I mentioned in my post (WIld Cruise night or something like that) are almost Always out there.

Its not to far from the end of Old Hwy 74 (Old Wilmington Hwy) Raeford Rd turns into 401. Theres a Pontiac dealership just a quarter mile or so down from us.

Hey Rbatson.

I might not be out there tonight, Unsure of my plans with a certian female . 50-50 chance.

Next weekend its 90% I wont be out there. But any other time I will be.

Tim C should be out there, along with the annouyuing, I know it all but dont, brother in law. Tim C drives a red 99 35th aniv GT, his brother in law a Silver 2001 GT convert.

If I'm out there, you'll see my car parked along side the other prevoiusly mentioned two.

Most people out there are cool, there are a few snobs, and jerks, but the cool easy going people far out number them.

There might be a little trouble (the good kind) out there tonight, so I'm going to try my hardest to be out there. The Subauru I raced might be looking for us with some of his buddies (Imports).

I wanna win some money, not spend time with my honey.

I'm not trying to be a post ***** or anything.. but....

Rbatson.

I'll be hanging out with the guys tonight at the Parking lot. My girlfriend gave me the night off even though I wanted to see her. Go figure. When you want to hang out with the guys, the girl wants to see you. When you want to see the girl, she says hangout with the guys..Go figure.

No big deal to me, I love cars.

Next weekend though I'm going to see my girl if she wants to or not.

So stop on by tonight man. You said your cars silver with neons didnt you? Its military Payday weekend, plus Military four day weekend, that usually means a pretty busy Fayetteville. Which translates into more cruisers out, which means MORE FUN (Races)

I'll smoke ya.

Wow, I'm confused by this new fangled stuff already. It looks more confusing than programming a VCR

R-Batson.

Glad I got to see someone from the site. That was so cool. Sorry there wasnt much of a turn out last night. The 94 Cobras showed up at 10:30 and hung around for a little bit. Not much action at all going on in Fayetteville. It was rather DEAD.

No kinda racing going on. No kinda of nothing going on.

Of course you have to pick the slowest night to come on out.

You'll have to come out some other time and we'll all go out and grab some grub and toss down a beer or two, and tell our stories.

You knew it was me right away, I'm still wondering about that, Do I look as goofy as I type.

We got so bored we went and bothered the ricers 30 minutes after you left. All the Birds and the Stangs united and we all hauled mad A$$. It turned out that the Ricers/Low Riders dug our rides and liked them. Go figure.

It wasnt the same ricers we saw egging us on.

Here I am talking trash thinking you drive something else and you pull up with a Howling Monkey Fox Body, with a Stroked engine. Ummmmm NOw that your not here.....I'll smoke ya.

GTGRL00.

Why are you available....j/k. Well, I figure my relationship is like a wrinkled dress shirt. It has some creases and folds that need ironed out before I go wearing it. Me and her are trying to iron things out. Nothing really set in stone though.

Found out that one of the FireBird Girls is single, 28 and into performance cars.....Pretty too.......

Mercury, it was nice to meet you and your friends last night.

I'm sorry I was in such a hurry to get to my cousins, they were way trashed before I got there Remember that black firebird with with the white stripes that rode by right before I left? I passed him up the road, the was pulled over. Man, you guys have alot of cops! We'll have to get together, maybe at an event in Rockingham or something.

1bad89, I don't know what it will run but yet, haven't taken it to track. I'm hoping to be in the 11s. I need a rollcage first or I may only get one pass before they stop me. The comment "I'll smoke ya!" is made in jest, but maybe you're right. I was just think the other nihgt how my whole attitude towards my car has changed. Ever since I ran and passed that YZF750 I have gotten alittle big headed but I am mostly joking with the guys on here. You are welcome to come here and race me. As long as we are comparing apples to apples(daily driver), I have no problem getting beat, but it has yet to happen. I'm sure when that day comes I will start to consider a different intake, cam, work heads, up the boost, or maybe even putting this engine in a coupe.

Getting beat baddly on the street is what motivated me to do what I did to my car, it took alot of time and money so I can justify (to myself anyhow) being alittle cocky

So you beat a YZF750 huh? I don't know...put a good rider on that bike and it probaly wouldn't have happened. But we all know how that goes. Yeah I know your mostly just joking, I kinda was too, I didn't mean to sound lie a di*k, I was just curious of your set-up. Yeah I'm comparing apples to apples, are my vehicles are "daily drivers" in my opinion. Man...I've seem your car somehere before, did you buy it off ebay?

Merc, we definitely should go to hooters(I love that place) and hang out sometime. I think I saw that import/truck crowd on the way of to my cousins. I think they had a bright yellow truck with the hood opened, I wanted to pull in there but was in a hurry. I wish I could have ridden with the pack and played alittle. I really wanted to check out you're mustangs and LS1 but... maybe next time Oh and goodluck with the woman..

1bad89, I've had the car since 91. I was 22 and thought I was "the chit" when I bought it. As far as ebay.. I really don't know who would want the car besides me. I love it like a child. As far as the smack talking... LOL. That is one of the funnest things about having a hot rod. Daily driver: driven to work every day. Its been my only means of transportation for the last month. BIG difference between "street car" and "daily driver". Man, I've been through this conversation before. My car passes inspection legitimately and still has cats. You may be able to beat me but there is only one way to find out(heeh).

You may be right about the yzf, the race was from a roll, but the fact that I surprised him(myself as well!) and pulled, still puts a smile on my face.
