Magnaflow or Bassani ?

I want a cat back for my 01 GT. I know that people who have Bassani are very happy with them and their reputation is fantastic. What about Magnaflow ? I can get a Magnaflow with the Magnapack(loud) mufflers for $412 which is over $150 cheaper than the Bassani. Has anyone heard the Magnaflow and how good does it sound.Am i right in saying both mufflers are straight through and can be used with the Bassani X pipe, i've read straight throughs are ok with x pipes but not chambered mufflers. Any thoughts and info appreciated, thanks guys

Yes the Magnaflows are straight flow thru and straight flow thru designed mufflers are recommended for X-pipes. As to the sound, I've never heard them on a mustang. I do have Magnaflow on my Lightning with an off-road h-pipe. I like it. Looks really good and looks to be made very well. Plus the Magnaflow I have is a 2.5 inch dual in/dual out with a X cross over in the center. It gave the truck a really deep tone. Sounds real good.
