Anyone know what would be required to replace a 4.6 v-8 in a Crown Vic with the 5.4 engine....mounts, bellhousing, etc....anything interchange?.....Thanks

not sure but i bet the tranny....even if it bolted up i bet it couldnt take the 385hp the 5.4 has. although ive seen 300hp vics'. seems kind of a lot of money to throw into a car like that, but certainly would be a sleeper. ever think about a supercharger?

The trans will bolt up but why not dump the un-fun auto. and do a proper conversion with a manual. A 6 speed a la Cobra R - now thats fun!!!
