Post 100K mile question

Now that I am approaching the 100K mark on a relatively stock car, What are the things that should be changed, say as preventitive maintenence? shocks, bushings, belts, Exhaust parts, Ignition parts, fluids, etc? I have done the regular interval tune-ups, but want some piece of mind crossing the 100K mark with my daily driver. thanks....

First thing, grab your 15 mm wrench and change your serpentine belt. I hope you have replaced your cap and rotor a few times already by now, bout 30,000 miles each time. When you replace the cap and rotor, seriously consider a new set of wires. The stock wires are probably fine, but some nice fat wires look cool, and you can save the origs for emergency use. The stock struts ans shocks are pretty worn by now they wear gradually so you dont realize how soft they are now, so start pricing some out. Stuff like springs and bushings I would not touch yet unless you plan to drop it down, or upgrade the suspension.

Inspect your plastic fan if you have one in a SN95 my 90's was all cracked at 99K. My radiatior was shot, but if you changed your coolant it should be ok.

Basically just crawl all over the car and give everything a look over. You dont want any suprises in a daily driver!

Most of the items you've mentioned are routine replacement parts that you'll change on a regular basis.

As the owner of a basically stock Mustang with 109,000 miles (all driven my me) I can tell you that I change the serpentine belt when it looks tired; which is about every 25,000 miles. I changed my TFS module at 100,000 on the advice of my bud, an experienced mechanic who said I was on 'borrowed time'. His went at 75,000 and he was 200 miles from home - on a Sunday.
I replaced all 6 shocks at 87,000 miles. They were on the edge but still functional.
I replaced my exhaust (cat-back) at 90,000 when a pipe rotted out. Got DynoMax Super Turbos (love 'em). I installed a new High-Output (Crane) coil at about 90,000 miles, just for the hell of it (I had a few extra bucks). I replace plug wires when they need it, which is about every three years, for me. I change the PS fluid once per year.
I change the antifreeze every two years and use Water Wetter, but my radiator rotted out at about 95,000 (I live in the NE and drive the 'Stang 12 months) so that's a consideration for replacement at 100,000.
Get a 3-row brass from Ford Racing like I did; easy install and only $200.
Hoses should be replaced when needed, but four years is about the norm for me.
I replaced the O2 sensors at around 90,000.
I change the T-5 fluid (synthetic) every two years (about 20,000 miles). I installed polyurethane bushings in the front end three years ago, along with sub-frame connectors.
I cannot recommend these highly enough!

Much of your replacements will depend on how well the car was maintained before you bought it. As I bought mine brand-new and maintained it like a maniac over the years, I have few problems now. I change the oil and filter (Mobil 10-30/Motorcraft filter) every 2,000 miles and I use a can of Ford injector cleaner ($9.00) twice per year and no injector problems so far. It's good.
I also have the original FP and regulator, as well as the EGR. I replaced the TPS about three years ago and I clean out the TB every spring.

Of course, brakes, tires, batteries, plugs and so on will be replaced at regular intervals, as with any car, but the above list may give you some idea of what one guy with a 100,000-mile daily driver Mustang has done. I trust it helps.
