Timing question...maybe problem
I was adjusting my timing the other day and I set it at 16 with the SPOUT connector out. Then I put it back in and checked the timing....it was at 22!!! Is that right?? The car is running real strong at 16degrees and 38psi FP. Any help??

Yep, that is right. When you put the spout back in, the computer starts to take over. So, no problems to worry about.

Exactly... the spout connector prevents the computer from advancing the timing. I know a few people who leave the car with the spout connector out all the time but put their timing at 30°+.
