I am porting some E7's (I have finished the exhaust) but am wondering about gasket matching the intake.

My car has the stock cam, 1.7 rockers, and performer rpm. If I match the intake and heads to the intake manifold gasket, will I be going bigger than I need to? All the porting guides say to gasket match the intake. So thats what I was going by... I know not to mirror polish the intakes, I am just wondering about size here. thanks

Match them both to the gasket. The gasket serves as a template.

Should be fine. Just work harder on the exhaust side.

			Good Luck
