![]() 1988 Notchback - No A/C, rear seat removed, battery in trunk
410 Stroker 11:1 compression Port-matched Victor 5.8L intake 75mm TB 80mm MAS 36lb injectors Canfield Stage II ported aluminum heads flowing 275cfm/206cfm @ .600" lift Custom non-roller hydraulic cam with around .575-.600" lift with 1.6 roller rockers and 270-280 or so split duration. 1 3/4" Kooks long tube headers and 3" off-road exhaust March aluminum underdrive pulleys 3.73 gears 10 point roll cage sub-frame connectors Tubular K-member and control arms Maximum Motorsport adjustable control arms, panhard bar, and torque arm in the back Koni double-adjustable coil overs front and rear. What do you think the FLYWHEEL HP will be N/A? What quarter mile times could this combo see N/A and with a 125hp shot on Nitto DR's and on slicks? And last of all - What kind of difference would it make to go built C4 or TKO? The engine is at the shop getting machined now and I plan to have it together in a couple months. After it's done I'll have it thrown on the dyno to see what it's got at the flywheel and see how close everyone is. I know this is a lot of stuff to take a stab at, but give it your best shot!

![]() Its all gonna matter if you can get it tuned and running right.
Any guess is as good as anyones here. You may run 14's or 13's your first time out. Eventually you should be able to dial it in to high 10's at 123 on slicks all motor. Skyler

![]() Properly tuned I will say 525hp@ the flywheel, and mid to high 10's. Low 10's high 9's with a 150 shot. Maybe I'm just being generous though.

![]() It'll be well tuned before I drive it. I heard this guy might not have a dyno to use EFI, but I need to talk to him to be sure. I don't want to dyno it with a carb. Actually, I don't see what the problem would be since I have an engine wiring harness and the computer and everything needed to make an EFI setup work.
It costs $500 for 8 hours on the dyno. That should be enough time to try a few degrees on the cam, air-fuel, and anything else we would need. But if he's not going to be able to do it with the EFI stuff on it I'll drop it in the car and go to a chassis dyno. There's a place that has wide band close by.

![]() Wow. That's a lot of tuning. I'll have to ask him to see what he thinks it's going to take.

![]() You could make about 450 rwhp and run about 11.50@118mph on the motor. With the a Juice boost I would say about 10.30@ 131mph..

![]() Nah, you guys need to remember how much HP were dealing with. At this level 150hp shot isnt going to add that much MPH.
ANd this is a lightened car, it should go 122--123 on motor, setup correctly. Skyler

![]() I'm guessing that when you let ME take it down the track, then it'll go low 14's the first try, then after i get new underwear after $hitting my pants from the rush, then i'll take it to low 11's
