I'm assuming you just care what cars YOU can beat with YOUR 2000 stang. I say that because since you've got some good basic mods, I would think you are a fair amount quicker than just a stock auto v6. You should be able to handle:

(Stock)
Civic Si's
Integra's
Any lightly modded v6 stang before 99
A stock v6 camaro or firebird would be a good match
Some of the Dodge and Chevy trucks with the V8's would be fairly even with you

Basically, you've got a good start with the gears and the dual exhaust. Throw some pulleys on there and a chip (I'm saying that because you need one anyway since auto stangs with gears HAVE to have one or else the speedo is fucked up) and you'll be about even with the 96-98 GT's in HP, but they'll still have some signifigant torque on you.

Thumbs up Thanks StoplightWarrior

Thanks for the info Ive noticed that on the Freeway I sometimes go infront of some hondas and they cant pass me.

One more Question my car as a 120mph spedometer but at 115mph it stops and dont pass from there.

Will a diablo chip make it go over that 115 limit and wat other performance will I see with a diablo chip?

And thanks again for the list

You can turn on the flashers if you REALLY want to go past the limiter(I think, it works on my moms Tauras, and on my old car, but not on my stang).

tireburner163???? what there is not a limiter on your car..........

And I realy Not sure you carn beat any of those
(Stock)
Civic Si's
Integra's
Those would be very close V6 with a Auto Mid 16s's at best!!!!
Sorry But Your car stock is a Slug..... with the Mods you have I would say Loe 16's or so So you might be able to be them.

Bull$hit. The auto V-6 should be a mid/high 15 car bone stock. It's not some slacker like the 1994-1998 V-6s. It's got a favorable powerband to the 1996-1998 GT's and it's got 190hp. Add the fact in that it weighs a couple hundred pounds less and you have a good runner.

Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords ran the 99 V-6 5spd at the track, and they came back and said it was easier to get that V-6 into the 14's than it was for them to get the first 96GT into the 14's that they tested.

With 3.73's and the exhuast, that 99 should be in the low 15's. I hate to say it, but the new V-6's can give the first gen 4.6's a run for their money with some kick *** driving.

I havent been too impressed with the stock auto V6 I beat them all the time in my truck that runs a 16.4@3000ft

A 00' 4.8L 270hp 4200lbs truck........I raced one at the track in my CRX I smoked him 15.94 to a 16.6 @3000ft, but that might have been cause he had 4 inch wide spoke rims.

Like any mustang I am sure that they have potential if you put some cash into them

Pull your head outta your *** Stangrunner. Are you honestly implying that a 5spd is worth 1.5sec in the 1/4 mile over an automatic?

If you are, go back to school. I've seen the mags rate the new Mustang GT's as high 14sec cars stock as well. The 5.0 was a mid 15 car according to the mags. The fact is the new V-6's are WAY faster than what you are giving them credit for. 190hp is 190hp dude. The car has all the potential it needs to run right with a 4.6L GT with a couple very light mods.

Take this from someone that goes to the track every week. I have raced many a V6 stang at the track and I was only running a 14.79 at the time.....Even though objects in the review mirror are closer that they appear they were still way back there.

Magazines and the real world are totaly different.

No, 3.73's are most definitely NOT stock on a v6 stang. I think the highest you could get from the factory were 3.55's but you can't even get those anymore.
