What do you guys think, will it work fine? A friend of mine has a 88LX and is looking at the kit but has been told he will need to convert to Mass Air to do so?

The cam might be a little too steep for SD, but there are a lot of guys running a lot heavier set ups without mass air.

Give it a shot, the worst that will happen is it will run like crap and a conversion will be necessary, but the mass air would be good to do anyway.

I could see the non-emissions cam being a pain it is .509/.509 102/106 218/224, they tight lobe centers would be hard to deal with. Holley does offer a emissions legal cam it is .512/.512 112 218/224, I don't think that would be a issuee with the SD.
