Default Nitrous?? Adding another Fuel Pump??

Hi All,

I am installing a Nitrous Express 150hp kit on my 1991 Mustang GT.
Although NX says that the stock pump will be fine, I would feel safer adding some more fuel supply..
Good Idea???
Or can I save the money???????

So I still have the stock pump, and I happen to have a Bosch rail pump from a ford ranger (brand new w/ isolator bracket) which pumps 190lph.

I was thinking of adding this in line to increase my fuel supply??
Is this a good idea??

If so where should I cut it in??

Is it ok to add it in line w/ the stock pump??
OR
Should I just buy a new in tank 255lph??

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Thanx,
LOBE

Talking I ran the nx kit on

a 97 chevy pu ran 8.20 in the 1/8 mile I didnt have any trouble out of it /did burn a few plugs /with the 150hp pills /didnot run race gas is why they burned. thats the only thing though it will be fine to run what you have I trust NX its good stuff.

Uhhhmmm, There is just a slight difference between the fuel pump of a 97 Chevy Truck and a 91 Mustang.

NEVER trust a stock pump! These things are rated at 88 lph! The same flow rating for the pump in an Escort!
And if you have any miles racked up at all you can bet that it is not even that efficient now. Just put in a good intank 255, or an inline booster such as the T-rex and you will be fine.

I am not sure if the Ranger pump is a good idea either. It may not be designed to act as booster pump. But then again it may work just fine.

Thanx.

The Ranger pump is actually just a BOSCH external 190lph external pump.

So do you think it will work on the same idea as like say a pump included in the NOS Stage 2 upgrade????
