The loudest system would be straight pipes, and then in my opinion, 2 chamber flowmasters, followed closely by the big buck Borla system.

DR. gas X-pipe and race bullits. I love the sound it makes at WOT.

When I wan to keep it quiet for street driving I welded a header flange at the end of the bullits and bolt up a set of "purple hornies" and they dump right before the axle. It takes 10 minuts to take them on and off.

I don't really like the flowmasters. They are, however, one of the louder exhaust systems. The MAC exhaust itself isn't very loud compared to some other brands. If you get the full exhaust setup (headers, h-pipe, & cat-back), then I love the sound of that setup.

Here are some sound clips if you are interested

Thanks,

I use a MAC system thru-out (shorty headers, off road pipe, and 2 1/2 Flo Path cat back system). I have to admit , it has a very distinct sound. I don't think I 've gotten used to it yet. The burbble at idle is kinda cool, but the roar at WOT kinda scares me sometimes. I wonder if it is too loud.

I will probably finish off my exhaust with MAC stuff, just because for what I am doing, I think it is the best bang for your buck. If I decide to get a 93 cobra, I will be wanting make everything best of the best. In that case, I would probably go BBK Full length headers, Bassani x-pipe, and a borla cat-back.

That would be my setup of choice, but it would also be like 4 times as expensive

Thanks,
DoranW
