Default pedal replacement (plz help)

Hello All,
I'm looking for new pedals for my 02 mustang. I'm really getting tired of looking at the black rubber ones when I get in. Maybe I'm anal - I just don't want the rubber to slip off whil I'm driving. So does any now a good pedal replacement? I don't really want the kind that screw over the existing one, I want to get the rubber pedals completely out of there.

Also how high up do I need to go on the lever to unbolt these? Is it hex or just a bolt kind of a deal? Do I need to worry about my warranty at all?

Thanks,
Anthony

Well, all you have to do is replace the pedal pad. it should slip off very easily. Take a look at the back of them. They slip off and you can pull them off by hand, takes about a minute.
Saleen, Steeda...hell, just about everyone makes aftermarket pedals for mustangs so it should be easy to replace and most of them have you drill and put screws through the actual pedal. If you buy a set of new pedals they'll have thorough instructions on how to replace them. Good luck,
