It's very hard to tell by what you said. Where is the noise coming from specifically, the right front, lf, rr , lr? Does the noise occur when you are going straight or turning? When you brake too?

I work at Tires Plus and we would inspect the car for free if you brought it in. Look for one in your area.

Thats what is so hard about it...I odnt know where the noise is coming from...someone said it could be she shield around my cat, my anyways the noise occurs when i have my fot on the gas, and very seldom when i dont. its very bad when i get more weight into the car (i.e. full tank of gas, or 3-4 people in there with me)

Do you have an aluminum drive shaft? Mine has a spot that is shiney from rubbing a rib in the body. Maybe your tires are rubbing the exhaust or quad shocks.

sounds like something coming from the drivetrain somewhere if the noise only happens when the foot is on the gas. Maybe it's just the nut behind the wheel. jk!

Hey just wanted to let you know you are not alone. I own a 94 GT Convertible, and I have the same noise. It is a grinding sound, sounds like it is coming from the passenger side rear. It only happens during hard accel, usually with a passenger or some weight. I recently took a trip and loaded the car with luggage and it was terrible. Let me know if you find out what it is please. I'll let you know if I do. I purchased a set of Mac lowering springs and was thinking about installing them with some new shocks to see if that helped. Later

I know exactly what you are talking about my girlfriends car was doing that exact same thing... On her car it turned out to be a worn out strut that was making that weird noise.

Just a long shot, but did you check your motor mounts and transmission mounts to make sure they are O.K. ?

no, i havent....someone told me that the problem could be the shield around my cat is bending as i have weight in the car or put pressure on them (like driving over humps, accelerating, or driving w/ friends in the car) could this be true??
