Question Which way should I go?

Alright i have my 91 but it really isn't in the best shape. And i thought about saving my money and trying to find a older lightning with the 351 in it. Or building a 347 stroker motor and making my 91 into a sleeper. With the motor i was thinking of getting the 347 short block and putting Trick Flow twisted wedge heads on and a trick flow r-series intake which should give me some power. But i know a guy with a lightning who has it running in the 12's so i don't konw what i should do. Any Thoughts?

I would say go with the 351 if you can get it,if you go with a stroker Id go to a 331,you can make just as much hp with a 331 as you can with a 347.

I'd go with a stroker. with the lightning motor your going to have to change a few diff things. can use your oil pan, might need a cowl hood cause 351 is taller. if you build a stroker you will have a new engine , but with tyhr 351 unless you rebuild it you won't know what shape it could be in.

I think he meant buying an older lightning instead of the stang.
