Pro: Flows better than a stock intake.
Con: Flows better than a stock intake.

Pro: $400 is a pretty good price.
Con: $400 for what you get isn't all that great.

Pro: Building a mild 351 will require a different intake than stock.
Con: It will probably require a better intake than the GT40, stock.

Pro: You can port intakes for better flow.
Con: You cannot port the GT40 upper due to thin castings.

Pro: The GT40 intake has long runners that work well for building torque on a small displacement V8 like the 302.
Con: The 351 doesn't need that kind of help and the long style runners hurt it's upper rpm performance.

Yep. I haven't heard if Holley is making a 351W intake yet.

Just on the of chance you can score a 302 intake cheap, like an efi Performer, here's something you might be interested in:

http://www.pricemotorsport.com/

Also, the Explorer 302 intake flows better than
the GT, about equal to the Cobra, and can be
had cheap at the right junkyard and could be
used with those adapters.

Here's some info:

I'm looking at the same situation on a limited budget. focusing on highest possible mid-range torque for hiway rpm in a heavy vehicle
