Has anyone had any trouble with cables?
I was just on my way home (luckily) and decided to get a little rowdy, so I gave it all she had, but nothing more than I do at the track. Then as I start to slow down, I hit the clutch in and SNAP there goes the clutch cable. Its stuck in 4th gear, but luckily Im just about to turn into my apartment complex, so I cruise in, shut it down, shove it into neutral and coast into my spot. Crawl underneath (that H-pipe gets hot ) and see that the cable is snapped right where it used to be connected to the clutch fork.I dont know what I'm gonna do. I'm at school and have no tools here whatsoever. My finals are next week as well. Guess I'll have it towed to Indy (1:15 drive) and hope i can find a cable. Do you think I should even try hasseling with D&D about it, the cable is less than a year old.
