Default E-brake installation?

My emergency brake cable snapped and I need help on how to put a new one in, any help??

89 lx 5.0, ram air w/ K&N filter, 1 5/8 in bbk shorty headers, 2 1/5 in dynomax exhaust (soon to be flowmaster), pony wheels.
