Default What kind of ET difference

Does anyone know what the difference in ET at the drag strip would be between 4.10's and 3.73? All else being the same?

Hello,

Depends . Depends on what other mods you have and what you currently run. Also, depends a bit on your transmission.

No matter what it won't be huge. I would guess on a stock car (would probably make the biggest difference), you might lose a tenth or so.

Thanks,
DoranW

Default Gears

With all the help everyone has given me hear and outside sources, I've learned a lot about gears. I had the same question and decided to go with the 3.73's. If you go with the 4.10's your going to notice a difference in your gas mileage (which was important to me)

ET times I'm not sure, but I don't see there being a huge difference between the 4.10's and the 3.73's. If you value the god awful gas mileage you have stock......go with the 3.73's.....I see 4.10's being a waste if you're driving it daily.
