Another warning
Just got my third warning in 7 years for my headlight and taillight covers. Cop saw me going through an intersection, and immediately turned his lights on and cut off a bunch of traffic to get three inches from my bumper to run my plate, then pull me over. Asked if I knew they were illegal, I played dumb.. "ILLEGAL!?!?!? I had no idea!!!!" So since I've been thinking about taking them off for a while now anyways, I did tonight after 7 years of them being on. Looks weird, but it's really weird being able to see at night.
The lights underneath are messed up. That's why the covers have been on for so long. The headlights are brand new, but the drivers side bracket is broken or something so it moves around freely. the turn signal and corner marker lights are ugly, old, and faded, and cracked and broken from people trying to steal the covers over the years. The taillights are new cobra lights so they're good. and the foglights are new also, so they look good. I'll take pics tomorrow in the daylight, It looks so weird...

I had a warrant out. The cops had been looking all over for me. I stayed in the car when my friend got out. A cop came over and looked in the window, turned around walked off a few steps then came back smiling. Tapped on the window. "Mr>christopher step outta the car please." DAMN! Ahh well glad those days are behind me.

Hey, Joe. Maybe my thread about the cheap headlight kit will do some good now . Good price and it really cleans the car up.

It's nice to see the road at night isn't it?
Yeah, i took my front covers off a couple of years ago. I replaced all 6 front lights and it looks real nice now. I figure in a couple years the headlights will be cracked and faded again.

Actually, your head-lights look good, but those inside blinkers need to be replaced badly. I think you can pick those up for about $15 each.

I think it looks better without the covers. Especially once cleaned up. Headlight covers are too 80's, too Miami Vice, too, well, cheesy looking. I think your car will look many times better once you finish with the front lenses, and so forth.
BTW, that best not be your nitrous bottle just laying there in the bushes like that!!! Take care, ~Chris

I think the car looks better with the covers on, but it'll probably take some getting used too. You think with all those warnings they would of relised you weren't going to take them off.

I had a warrant for a 'few minor traffic violations'. Went to jail a few times. It was a big mess. Oh well live and learn.
