Iraqi official: Inspections are ‘over’

IRAQ’S INFORMATION MINISTER, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, told the Arabic satellite television Al-Jazeera in an interview that U.N. arms inspectors finished their work when they left Iraq four years ago.

Am I the only one who distinctly remembers the UN getting absolutely NO admittance to many sites in Iraq? Many of the sites that WERE inspected could only be inspected AFTER getting permission from the Iraqi government (ie Saddam Hussein).

"Hmmm, the inspectors are trying to look at some of my arms facilities... maybe I should clean them up before I let them inspect."

In case anyone forgot, the inspectors were pulled out just before UN airstrikes began after the Iraqi government refused to cooperate with the inspectors, even though this cooperation is CLEARLY spelled out in the peace accords signed after the Gulf War.

Holy Moses, a 5 year old kid can tell that this maniac is lying through his teeth every chance he gets. And now we have a "mis-information" minister who likes to re-write history and UN statutes.

In my opinion, Al-Jazeera is just one big anti-west misinformation tool to stir up the locals into a Jihad frenzy.....

I'm getting awfully tired of being called an "evil infidel" while they are targeting innocent civilians.
