Question 94/95 fan trouble

Yesterday when I went to turn the fan thermostat down all it did was click. No fan start. I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot yet. Just wondering if anybody else has had any fan issues of a similar nature. Just got it back Saturday after her 6 week 'vacation' at Competition Engineering and I'd much rather be harvesting some rice than shading the driveway.

I've got a Flexalite controller setup with the computer relay bypassed. It's worked great up until yesterday. The car has 94k miles on it. I figured a factory fan should run a lot longer than that.

Also, anybody with aftermarket fans in their 94/95 stangs? if so what kind? and how good of a fit was it right out of the box?

Thanks in advance for any input.
Jared.

Try to run it straight from the battery. If it works, the relay is bad., and if it doesn't, the fan is shot.

Take care,

Call your dealer. There was a recall on the 1995 electric fan circuit breaker. Probably the problem. ...and a free fix.
I just received the recall notice within the past six months.

Hmmm. Wonder if I got that recall and maybe put in the circular file? I'll give them a call tomorrow. Do you know where the breaker is physically located? I hate to be one of those guys that asks a bunch of questions without going to look at it beforehand, but I'm involved coaching 2 different soccer teams and I haven't had a spare moment in the last 2 days to look at it yet. Got a free hour tomorrow afternoon that I plan to use getting intimate with my fan

I got a question Chris:
I wired the controller into the fan harness, right before the connector at the fan, so that if it ever failed, the computer settings would take over around 215 and spare me from a complete meltdown. Is the relay down at the fan motor or is it somewhere else in the wiring?

Thanks for the help guys.
