Default Here's what I got, now what do I need?

Hey everyone. Here's the thing, I got a transgo shift kit, 3.73's, pulleys, subframe connectors, and an o/r h-pipe. now(thanx to drtbker)...A 2800 stall non-lock up PI stallion torque converter and tranny cooler will be installed soon, and so will 2 chamber flows. Is this enough to keep up with a stock LT1? I'm talking about an auto LT1. what about newer GTs?(99+) Now that I have some of the basic stuff, I think it's almost time to tinker with the new stuff. any ideas? I'm not sure what to add to the motor. let me know, o and what do u guys think i'll be running in the 1/4. thanx.

-Suave

I think that you are under-estimating your car. You should run low 14's with the mods you listed. Which is LT-1 territory.

If I were you I would go with a set of heads next and go after those LS-1's.

Later,

Default Need now

Yeah, those '99 & up GTs will still get ya, with what you are running. Those newer stangs are pretty fast. You could go for the bolt on modifications like throttle body, pullies, mass-air meter...etc. Or like -Dark_5.0- said...get a set of performance cylinder heads & bigger cam...and you'll be getting some "real" performance! Have fun.
