Mustang stolen in the S.F. Bay Area

Hi, I received an update from the car owner.

Hello,
First I'd like to thank everyone for their help: many of you aided far
beyond any of my expectations. I'm very grateful.

Through some self initiative I have found out that the vehicle has been
located by SFPD. They and other departments are conducting an
investigation of the incident. I can't comment any further about the
investigation. As well, I do not know the precise disposition of the
car as I have not seen it myself, however at this point, I believe the
vehicle will be a total loss. I should know more sometime next week and
will post any further news to http://homepage.mac.com/seth_kaos/

Thank you again for your interest and efforts. Working together we can
make a difference. Our individual actions may prevent auto thefts and
hopefully our collective actions bring criminals swiftly to justice.

If you cross-posted the original "Stolen Vehicle" message (or some
variation) to other lists, groups or users please post this message to
