this guy say he would sell me his lon block but i ask only for the heads and i offered 150 for them he said cool
is that too much for rebuilt heads it has all the stuff ready to bolt on. does long blocks have cams in them? |

$150 is a fair price for a rebuilt set of heads.
A long block usually includes everything but the oil pan, valve covers, intake manifold, carb, ignition (distributor/wires/plugs), exhaust manifolds, and sometimes the water pump. Take care, ~Chris

I remember the buick wide block, got me confused with short and long block terms, but that was a while ago.

150 is not rippin me off all i have to do is put my valve cover on
? will it improve my performance? when i took my intake off to put a better one on it had like rust in the inlet holes is that bad and build up stuff it was nasty |

It would be a wise purchase. Whether or not you notice much difference will depend on how bad your current heads are, but having a set of freshly rebuilt heads is always smart.
