![]() I was thinking of getting a new cam for my setup... iv though about the performer cam and the performer rpm cam.. the performer is a little better then stock but not much. i was thinking. since i have to get a new timing set for a new cam maybe i should get timing gears or a new chain and just degree the cam for higher rpm. do you guys think this is a good idea? i run the motor more often at about 4000rpm almost everytime i drive it. i have a bad *** gear setup but it puts me at 4000 in 3rd for 6mph. i dont mind it thouh. i love the acceleration. alway do you think i should run the stock cam digreed with gears or chain? or should i just get the performer cam?
1 more question.. i know the performer cam is made for the performer manifold i have but i want a bigger cam. will it hurt me if i run the performer rpm cam? i want a lumpier idle and more top end power if i can find it. thanks for your help guys.. this site rocks.
