![]() Ok guys heres the deal I really want a street driveable car taht basically dominates in all catagories. But sadly in reality thats nto happening so more importantly i was lookgin for a good ombination wiht maybe a 60/40 ratio of drag to road course car set-up
Thus the problem. First i dont knwo what tires will fit with the diameter and width im pretty sure all 16's will wiht probalyl width up to 8inhes easilly But im thinking something like 17X9 in fornt and 17X 10's in the back and those back tires will probally have as much drag properties as possible so the tire will probalyl be aroound 11 inches total width maybe a little less and be tall as possible. Im planning on about 600 RWHP on a highly modified forced induction FI 5.0 block at around 7,000 RPM. Do you think this combo will actaully allow me to launch at the strip? Or at what RPM? 5pd with 3.27 rear gears If I put a 9 inch in there im gonna assume its just not gonna work? Would i bring the rear end ot the mechine shop and have them cut it down liek a few incehs on both ends and beign the tires in more? If so how much does this cost? All Other ideas woudl be helpful. Also how much do those cars weigh something like 2800 ibs right?
