![]() Hey all. Long time no post. I'm having a problem that has plagued me for quite sometime and it has worstened. I start up my car in the morning and it idles up like its supposed to till it warms up. Then I start driving and it feels like I have 7 cylinders sputtering and backfiring for about a minute then bang! The 8th one kicks in. At this time the car sputters horribly at PT and FT but not in between with a gas smell. The car shakes when I engage the clutch from stop to go. If I let it idle for about 5 minutes then drive, it seems ok even at FT. It doesn't even shake at this point from stop and go but after another few minutes my idle will drop a bit and it starts all over again. The funny thing is that I still beat the turbo civics here in West Kendal Miami. Imports are huge here but when you got a hopped up mustang they don't even mess with you. Must be the exhaust lol. Anyway, I don't know if this is a spark or fuel problem. When I run the computer self test everything is ok. I only get the code that everything is running fine. I've checked the whole top half of the engine over and over. I've changed things left and right and still no success. Every so often I hear the fuel pump sing vibrato but only if the car has been running throughout the day. My fuel pressure needle used to flutter but I adjusted the pressure till it stopped, around 40 PSI. Help help help help please. Thanks. Here is what I got:
