Default violent wheel hop??

I guess you guys are going to tell me i need to put my quads back on, but i thought it would'nt matter with some good lca's,

I just installed my lakewood lca's, and i like them, except it seems the wheel hop is still there, actually feels worse, i tried radials so far, we'll see what happens on m/t's at the track tommorrow, so you guys think the quads are necessary? thanx....

I think the wheel hop will go away with your M/T's, mine went away with the aftermarket pinion snubber and the drag radials. I don't have the quads on either. Good luck, let us know how you did and if the problem persists.

Thanx, well i just did a little burnout on some smooth concrete at a post office, and it stayed nice and straight, while spinning the tires, no hop, it seems when i hit second real hard, the rear fistailed just a bit and began hopping, i guess it;s the tires slowly biteing, then they hop, love the lca's though, feel tight back there.

i'll see what happens at the track when i do a burnout. one thing i should have done was replace the spring isolators, they were not in the best of shape, but needed my car in a hurry, dang g/f was crying about something...

I have that same problem with my GT because the lower control arm mounting point has been lowered (simulating a lift bar) and the bushings deflect like crazy. That's why i bought upper and lower control arms (steeda uppers came with harder differential side upper control arms) drag springs and drag struts

Hopefully i'll be able to see a result soon, but if that doesn't fit wheel hop i don't know what will.

Chances are your upper control arm bushings are too soft and are deflecting, changing pinion angle under load and causing your wheels to hop. You can get some uppers real cheap, that's personally what i would recommend.
