Unhappy engine appearance - '01 Bullitt

Hope someone can help. FORD won't.
Problem is aluminum components on my 4.6 are corroding, evidenced by a white, powdery substance. My son's Cobra has a nice looking coating, which I assume prevents this corrosion.
I asked FORD for help. They said "it's normal."
I then asked them to contact FORD Engineering to see what the coating is on the Cobra engine, so I could obtain it to fix my problem.
No answer from FORD. Dealer says a product named "415" may work.
Any one experience this problem and/or have a solution?
Thanks.
