I was looking over the FFW site last night and checking out the classes, I have a friend that is dropping from Pro 5.0 to Street Renegade this year. I got to looking at what classes I would be interested in if I were so inclided. Now, I probably wouldn't do it but.. Street Bandit looks very interesting to me. No power adder and a 331 ci limit. This class looks perfect for the parts I already have. I was thinking a cheap 4banger notch with my sb, ported heads/intake, tranny, a better cam, cage, subframes and a strong rear axle and I wouldn't really need much else. What am I missing? How much more would I need to spend? I've never raced in any event besides bracket and I know there are some things I just don't know about. This sounds very interesting to me..
Thanks, Rick |
