![]() I'm getting ready to put a fuel and boost gauges in my car and would like input on manufacturers to go with, or in particular stay away from. I'm going with the dual pod set-up on the pillar. Prices for each of these gauges range from $25 for I believe AutoLite to more than double that from Ford Racing and others. What differentiates the manufactures to justify this cost difference? I'd really like to keep it as cheap as possible, as I'd rather sink my money into other items, however I realize at my current stage of upgrades I need these gauges and if I need to spend the extra $$ to get a set of quality gauges I will, but if I don't need to $25 a gauge sounds great to me. Also are there any features I should really look for in gauges, say such as type of lighting for night driving?
Thanks for you input!

![]() Looking at prices... the Autometer gauges look a bit cheaper than the Ford Motorsport units...
If you're going for a fuel pressure gauge, you will have to go with the electrical setup, which is quite expensive... ie $179.95...

![]() Ah-ha, now I understand the whole gauge thing. I definitely need the electronic for the fuel, as I want all of my gauges in the cabin of the car, however I don't want a fuel line running into the cabin. $180 is a bit over budget for me on a single gauge. I'll now probably just go with a single pod boost gauge and get a fuel gauge later. Thanks Hammer!
