Default engine removal??

This may sound stupid but a search revealed nothing of what I need to know on this.I have everything removed on my motor and it is ready to pull out.I am leaving the tranny in the car and am wondering if I remove the 4 bolts holding the tranny to bell can I remove the motor without tilting the tranny.I have plenty of room to come forward and then up and am needing to know if I must remove the trans mount or can it stay??

For me it was easier to remove the engine and tranny at the same time. I removed my tranny mount but I dont know if everyone does.
