Default Bellhousing 302, 351C?

I've wound a 4-speed bell for a 69 302 and was fairly sure that all small blocks caried the same bolt patern. What I was wonderin was if it will fit my 72 celveland. If someone could shine a little light on the situation, to prove my right or wrong doesn't matter. It's all good. So if it does fit the 351C would it then fit the 351-400 series, probalby not, I'm guessing. Also did the depths ever change?

Thanks for any help!
