Post lower idle after plug change???

I changed my plugs (#4 was a b****) and i started it up and went inside to get cleaned up and when i came out it was idleing lower than it usualy does after warming up. i took for a drive and feels better S.O.T.P and when i got home i checked idle and was around 800 when before it would be around 900-950 when warm. whoever did last plug change used ngk platinums and gap was close to .060. I used autolites gapped at .054.

900-950 rpm idle sounds too high. Mine idles around 600-700. I think thats normal range anyway.

Changing gap can effect idle quality quite a lot. Regardless, your prev idle actually sounds too high, as mentioned by blueneonman1.

Are the new Autolites coppers or plats? If they're coppers, I wouldn't have dropped the gap, as they have *a bit* less resistance than plats. Dropping gap too much can make things get bumpy.
