Default Will a T-45 bolt to a 5.0

I can get a mid/late 90's T-45 out of a 4.6 stang for a good deal, I have an 86 GT with a 93 5.0. Will it bolt up, if not what will I need as far as bellhousing/crossmember/speedo/etc. ?

Cool

no it wont unfortunately. it has its own unique bellhousing, and the inout shaft is longer than a T5 so even if it did bolt to the 5.0 bell it still wouldnt fit. best to sell it to a 4.6 guy and find a T5.

Cool

i posted my previous answer only a couple of days ago, and this afternoon i was reading my june issue of 5.0 mustangs. it seems the mcleod has a bellhousing that lets you bolt almost any tranny to a small block ford. give them a buzz and see what they say. www.mcleodind.com or call (714) 630-2764
open mouth insert magazine, maybe i will learn something.
