Just when I thought I was at rock Bottom

As some of you guys are aware I was injured seriously on the job. I broke my shoulder and have recieved 3 operations on it. I went to the surgeon yesterday and he said the damage is too bad and CANNOT be repaired anymore. A life-time restriction of 10lbs he told me. I then called my boss and told him the situation. I did not think it would be a big deal since they have offered my a management position. But now he has reversed his decision and let me go. I have devoted a third of my life to this company and then they just throw me away. I pump concrete for a living and this is all I have ever done. SO I am hoping somone in my Industry gives me the chance to work. I am still getting paid from WC but it is just enough for food. This SUCKS. Next thing I will probally loose my house and family. It's all about money I suppose. I know some of you guys are not religous but I am. If you are, please say a prayer for me and my family. It would mean a lot to us. Thanks

i have said prayers for you and i will continue to, i was sorry to hear about your accident, and im even more sorry to hear about the aftermath. i hope everything works out for you and i will keep you in my prayers. try to stay positive and may it all work out best as possible.

I'm sorry to hear about your hard times.

Is there any legal action you can take? I know here in Texas, if they did that to you, you can sue the crap out of the employer and bank some money. Some lazy @ss chick in my department that does her job less then 1/2 @ss "fell" out of a chair and hurt herself. She got full pay for the 6+ months while she was out. I personally think they should fire her @ss just because she's incompentent! Ok, I'm off my soap box.

In the state of GA you can not sue your employer if you were hurt on the job. Also no pain and suffering can be paid to you. You only get wage reimbursment up to 400 a week. And if you decided to sue WC the most you can recieve is 100 grand if you loose your life. 20grand for loss of limb. It is paid in installments of 250 dollars a week. If you want one lump sum you get 25% of the settlement.

Man That is really bad but you need to pray that U have a strong family that will stick with you on this one U seem like a good guy so im sure U do .. but nun the less well all say a little prayer for you and your family B4 bed time 2 night

Thanks Guys.....I have had people already calling with offers. I can not believe it. I guess I have befriended the right people in the industry. I have a meeting with a guy in the morning hope it will bear fruit
