Default Accessory belt won't fit...WHY???

OK, here is the deal. I have a suprecharger and have relocated my alternator under my smog pump.

Recently my smog pump locked up and I threw a belt, so I removed that and my alternator. I since reinstalled them both.

Before this, I was running a 91.5" belt, no problem. Since then I have tried a 91.5", 91", and 90.5"

None of them work, they all either were too long and ended up rubbing on the Water Pump pulley, or too tight and broke.

Why?

Nothing has changed....EXCEPT

Since I reinstalled my alternator, one of the studs is stripped out. So it isn't in there. It happens to be the one that anchors it into the block. So now there is just one bolt in the bracket and the one that locks the alternator up to the Smog pump...

Could that be the culprit?

Any advice is much appreciated...thanks guys!
