Z28 for lunch

I left work early today to get my new Auburn posi installed. I was going to meet the guy at 1:00 but he didn't show. I decided to cruise a couple miles over to Brothers to see if he was there.
There's a late model Z28 pulling up to the stop sign just in front of me. He doesn't look at me, I'm not sure if he's going to go or not. I ease it off the line (no posi) and nail it, I hear his car taching and it's on. I hit second with a nice little bit of rubber and start pulling him, hit third and and open up about 3 cars on him. We're coming up on an intersection now and moving pretty good, the light's green but there're a lot of cars so I let off. He's bound and determined to get by me though and stays on it till he goes by, slams on the brakes and goes bouncing through the intersection, what a dip ****. He made a U turn, I gave him a wave as I went by but he still doesn't look. At least the afternoon wasn't a total loss.
