Mustang Owns Help Me Out!!!!!

hey guys i run a rim shop and for the first time today, a 2001 ford mustang came in and wanted some 18 inch ADR wheels..and the guy i talked to said that +40 offset would fit..is that true and will it require a spacer kit?
