Post Wiring

Guys. Long time no speak. Listen, anyone ever replace the entire wiring harness in an early model fox body? I have an 81, hatchback. I went out last weekend to a local hot spot. Had a few bites, but all were 14 second cars. Nothing real serious. I was letting off the last few hundred feet. Anywho, There is this badass vette that shows up there every now and again. No one has the balls to race him. Not even me. But for some reason I felt lucky. Half way down the track, my car bucks over and over, and finally it stalls. I was able to safely stop the car, but not before big white billows of smoke came out from the grill, front wheel wells, and all over under the car. Car never started again. Got it towed home, and found huge nests of melted wires. Started tracing the wires, and found a few that were grounded behind the firewall. Needless to say after the fire every wire under my hood is melted. I need replacements. So while I am at it, I am going to replace every wire in the car. I was hoping someone knew where I could find a new replacement harness for my car. I am going to rip the car apart and redo every part. Oh, in case you're wondering, the vette was kicking my *** . I never had a chance. I have heard rumors that he runs 10's, but never seen him do it.

Can't wait till Spring for E-town.
