Post Burn out with radials?

Dose doing a burn out at the track do anything for radials? Or would I just be wasting money? I know it will makes slicks sticky but dose it work the same way on my street tires?

Radials are designed for best traction when they are cold. They aren't meant for drag racing. Spin 'em a little just to get some debris off. I got my best time when I left at 2000 and they spun a little for a second but I hooked right away. But if you are lined up next to a guy who tells ya " It's fast, like a chevy ", SMOKE 'EM!!!

Ya, slicks are made of completely different kinds of rubber, that are worthless cold, but are very stick when hot. Radials don't do that. Do a quick spin to clean em off BEFORE you stage. whatever you do DO NOT SPIN ON LAUNCH!
