Default Windage Trays-power? better oiling?

Well, I researched this a bit through the archives and really saw no real answer to the question...and maybe there is not one.

I do not really buy what the adds say for an extra 20hp. But in theory, I could see where they could be effective. Even if they do not ad the extra power they claim....do they help keep the oil from anit-frothing as I have heard.

I hate to ask this question, but have NO experience with a windage tray....and see very few guys boasting that they run one. At this point, I am wondering if the $60 bucks for the tray would be better spent towards something else.

opinions?
Ryan
