I know this is'nt a 'chevy' site, and this may offend some of you, but you guys seem to know your **** ..
besides mustangs, my favorite body style has always been the mid 60's chevy nova super sport.. I found a 66 (mint ext), problem is, 625hp and a 5500 stall converter (the guy has time slips for the car with a different motor, 9.38 @ 135 mph, he claims this new motor puts out 150 more hp. $14,900.00 with a 5500 stall and 600+hp, would this car even have the ability to drive on the street (ocassional car show, drag strip, cruising) to build this same car would cost well over that $$$ amount.... any input is appreciated, i apologize in advance for bringing a chevy question here.. ------------------ Black,84 GT,ground effects, shorty headers, 'open' dual exh.,302 HO(no pollution control crap),T5,89 ported heads, edelbrock Performer manifold, Edelbrock 2122 cam,600 Holley, high volume oil pump... gears (4:10's) coming soon. N2O, soon to follow!!! |
