![]() anyone have a direct fit chrome or polished alternater for an 88 mustang? where did you buy it and how much did it set you back? it doesn't have to be a higher amp.

![]() I have an '88 GT and I put a crome Powermaster 140 amp on mine. It looks real good! It was about $250, but they do have a less amp one that is cheaper, not sure how much though. For an alternator, I would go chrome not polished because it would take a lot of time to keep it (especially an alternator) looking good. Go to PGS Performance Parts at http://pgsparts.tripod.com/ Give them a call. They were the ONLY ones I could find that had them in stock, everyone else had to order one. Good luck.
