				 | Jack stand safety question I realize this is a stupid question, but I'd rather not wake up dead if I can help it. . . What is the proper placement for jack stands under the front end of a '91 LX? I need to get the front end up so I can replace the starter. Thanks (sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot). |

				 | Re: Jack stand safety question I usually like to put mine where the a-arms connect to the k-member. Or if that is in the way, I will put them at the very front of the "frame rails" It's not a stupid question if it keeps a stang from possibly falling and getting blood on the paint

				 | Re: Jack stand safety question Yes, I like mine under some part of the actual frame rails too. I often keep the floor jack under some other part of the car as well just for extra insurance. What ever one does, don't rely on those stamped metal, drive on ramps from places like Walmart. I saw pictures of a dead guy with the car on top of him after those "cheapo" ramps collapsed. Rev
