351 heads on 302 ??

I am thinking of puting 1983 351 heads on my 1968 302 for a performance upgrade. Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea or not and if it will work. I am looking for more power for low cost. Any and all info wanted. Thanks

Do you already own the 351 heads? I am assuming you want to use 83 heads cause you have access to them?

Yes I already have the 83 351 heads. I am looking for some low dollar gains.
