Thinking of switching intakes
My TFS heads are ported with an E-303 cam, and 1.72 stud mounts. My intake is a GT-40 with a ported lower. It is ported to a Fel-pro 1262.
I was thinking of selling my GT-40 and buying a Trick Flow track heat, then dremeling the ports just a touch myself to match a 1262. The TFS intake is 450.00 and I hope to offset most of this cost by selling my GT-40. What do you guys think? Good idea? And any ideas on what my GT-40 might fetch? I have seen a lot of ported GT-40/Cobra intakes on Ebay going for close to 400 bucks.
