![]() Gents,
Car starts okay, then after reaching operating temp idles crappy and starts to back fire through the exhaust. Wants to die. No codes, except thermactor. Cranks well, it does about 5 turns then stops. Alsmost like it's being interrupted. Red cable from positive batt term to starter relay is hotter than hell. I have to fiddle with the coil connectors, then pop the top off of my distro, which is mildy corroded, and the car miraculously starts and idles perfectly and drives well. Then the process repeats itself. Just going to start with the cheap stuff...cap/rotor, coil, etc... Thanks
