Question 3 Speed in a Mustang?

I need some info, did the first generation mustangs come with an available 3 speed standard from the factory. I don't know and it will settle a "discussion" i've been having with someone at work. Thanks in advance

If Nissan Motorsports = NISMO, wouldn't Honda Motorsports = HOMO?

Many 3 speed cars. Both 6 and 8 cylinders.

My new '67 Mustang had the deluxe interior, 289 engine, and a 3-speed transmission. It cost me $2750 and I just could not afford the extra $150 for a 4-speed. My, how things change. E.

I'll sell you the 3 speed out of my mustang if you really want to prove it, haha! What was this "discussion" and what side were you on?

I own a '65 6 cyl that I am getting ready to refurb. The three speeds are junk. I am dumping the 6 cyl and 3 speed and going with a four speed and 302 when I get tothat point. Hope thishelps. Oh yeah...I will GIVE you the three speed P.O.S. that is in there right now...LOL

My 3 speed has been great, its a 6cyl 3 speed behind my 302, no problems. I beat it pretty hard sometimes too. Im going to hang onto it for awhile after I get my 5spd in, just in case the 5spd blows.
