Post A question about 94-95 tailights AND rear brake lines..i think.

There was a major rattling occuring from the rear of my car. Only would happen through turns and wet weather. Well, I found it. Its this hard black line thats coming from my rear brakes and it runs to the front. It sits in this ring behind the wheel. But its loose in the ring. I looked at the other side and I see the same thing, only the brake line is welded, glued, or plastered on the inside of the ring(to prevent the rattling). What could I do to the other side to make it stick to the ring like the opposite side?

Now the tailights. My tailight covers(the horizontal black strips, not the 3 vertical ones that are on 96+) are fading. I have tried those black back lotions you can put on yor car's trim, but it doesn't last long at all. So, where can I get some new tailight covers(stock ones)? Or better yet, do you think I can paint them? Or would it come out lousy..?
